Mr. van den Eijnden, Founder & Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Mr. van den Eijnden (1964) brings fifteen years of experience in fund management, private equity, deal originating, execution, structuring and managing across all kinds of businesses. Mr. van den Eijnden (founder and Managing Director) earned a Masters degree in Economics, cum laude, from Tilburg University, joined a post graduate program in Business Administration at Nijenrode University and holds a BSC in Mechanical Engineering of Eindhoven Technical University. Mr. van den Eijnden has many years of decision-making experience in private equity funds and has co-managed more than 500 million Euro. For US based Riverside Company he co-managed the 322 million European Growth Fund. The fund invested in European and US companies focusing on buy and build strategies and internationalization of companies. He joined Greenfield in 2003 as shareholder and as Managing Partner of the Berghave fund. Since 1998, prior to joining Greenfield, he was Partner at Fortis-linked private equity group NeSBIC. Previously he was director of the Corporate Finance department of Generale Bank and held several sales and business development positions with Rabobank and ELF Aquitaine in Paris. His native language is Dutch and he is fluent in German, French and English. His primary role in the team is managing the Fund and organization, strategy and institutional network. He also brings international commercial banking and managerial experience to the team.
